To refill the meter at any time (be it as Beaver or Woodie) you can eat logs, twigs, grass and so on. When the meter hits 25 you will transform into a Werebeaver, which you will continue to be until you refill the meter up to 100. By all rights, if I turn into a towering monster to slug it out with the Deerclops, I shouldn't feel like i'm much worse off than Winston with a ham bat and marble armor. In regards to Werebeaver form it comes down to your log meter management. Woodie has to sacrifice a lot to engage in this form in combat: he has to spend the resources to change form, then he's locked out of his inventory so he can't heal, and he drops weapons and armor so he has to fend off his enemies with only what his form can do. ![]() You made him slower so he cant kite as well, then you better make him tanky enough to take punishment. Give him Wigfried's ability to gain health and sanity by punching enemies so he can actually sustain himnself. If I were to suggest changes to the weremoose in particular: But it is just so underwhelming, specially compared to Wilba who just shreds trough everything without losing speed for it. ![]() I never really cared for chopping wood, I walways wanted to use Woodie's wereform for combat, and I thought the weremoose was the answer i had been waiting for. This wouldn't completely fix Woodie but would at least help reduce the mess he is currently in and continue's with his "wood/tree/lumberjack" theme. And replace them with unique living log crafted transformation items.Get rid of monster meat transformations.(since beaver has a damage bonus to them.) Change increased treeguards to only apply while in Beaver form. How on earth did they think this refresh would be a good idea? Feel's very rushed and unfinished.Įdit: Changes I would like to see Klei make to help fix this mess. Wolfgang's mighty form, widely regarded to be op, only loses 225 hunger per day.) Woodie is just terrible now. (At launch Winona's downside made her lose 4800 hunger per day for a 0.5 second speed buff on crafting. What on earth was Klei thinking with this refresh? I thought they learned after the Winona disaster. I can't think of any situations where this would be beneficial. ![]() Not sure why I would want to inflict such heavy penalties on myself in combat. So after the short period of his combat form he will be stunned, have a modest health loss, a large sanity loss, no armor (it is dropped and dequipped on entering this form), no weapon (also dropped and dequipped) and will now be starving (and taking damage from it). All for a short period of Thulecite Club tier damage. Oh and he also loses a HUGE amount of hunger and sanity. (20 seconds I think.) It also has a transformation period where Woodie is stunned and can't fight back. You’ll be needing at least a pickaxe and an axe to gather some of the required materials for this venture. He instantly LOSES HEALTH upon entering this form, his armor and weapon DROP TO THE GROUND, and the duration is very short.
